Founder of The Mourning ResetAfter spending years being my fathers caretaker and navigating life alongside someone I loved so deeply, I found myself learning how to move through a world that suddenly looked very different.
For me, movement has always been my outlet. I began dancing at 3 years old and since then I’ve never stopped prioritizing movement. Movement became my therapy. It became my place to breathe. To get out of my head. To reconnect with myself when things felt unsettled and my outlet.
Of course there’s been times where I’ve fallen off my wellness routine- however I quickly realize how important it is for me to move, sweat and connect with my inner and mental strength.
Once again during mourning the loss of my father, movement saved me. I realized that mourning isn't something we have to feel dark and down & we don’t have to go through it alone in quiet, heavy spaces.
There can be movement. There can be connection. There can be laughter, new experiences, new friendships and moments that make us feel like ourselves again.
That is where The Mourning Reset began.
I created this community as a space for people who are mourning to come as they are, honor the people they love, and find ways to reconnect with themselves and with others.
I'm still figuring it out, too.
And maybe that's the point.
Welcome to The Mourning Reset, I can’t wait to reset with you.
